Find Out Detailed Information Specifications Of Your Computer System

Most of us who uses computer daily will not be knowing every detail about their computer. Because it needs time and interest in exploring your computer. Some of us who are really interested might have explored either computer’s software or hardware and that too after investing so much time which many of us will not be able to spend for this work.
So, in solution to this problem, there is a freeware called WinAudit especially for the people who are really interested in knowing about every aspect of their computer inventory.
WinAudit is a software program that audits Windows based personal computers with just a click. The tool is very smart and will be very useful for a beginner if he/she wants to know about their computer. The best part is that it audits both software and hardware of the computer.
The tool is portable and needs no installation. When you will run the application, it will show this window. You just have to click the ‘here’ link and it will start scanning your computer.

The scanning will take some time but it is worth waiting because when the scanning will be completed, you will be shown a report as a web page which is in a easy to understand format just like this. Here, the first page is the systm overview which will show you the most important hardware parameters, from the cpu to the memory, operating system, total hard drive space, motherboard and BIOS. The categories will be shown at the right-side tab from where you can switch to different categories if you want. You can also scroll down to read the whole report.

For ease, the categories are loosely divided into:
Software: Includes the installed software on the computer system, information about the operating system, startup programs, running programs and Internet software.
Hardware: It lists everything there is to know about the computer’s hardware, from physical discs to communication and open ports, processors and installed printers to display and network TCP/IP related information. It is all there and as extensive as it can get.
System: Lists system related information. This includes services, regional settings, environment variables, error logs, uptime statistics and groups and users.
In the options, you can unselect the categories for auditing if you want.

You can save the report in a number of standard formats. formats. You can e-mail it to your technical support or take a print of it using the options present at the toolbar.
The audit can be even posted to a database for archiving in the option’ ‘export database’ in the ‘file’ menu. The tool can also be used in command line.
